Welcome to WordThis, a word game published by MC Stud.io. By playing WordThis you agree to these Terms of Use.
FAIR PLAY
Find words by dragging across adjacent letters. You agree to play fairly: no automated solvers, bots, or tools that find words for you, and no exploiting bugs to inflate your score.
YOUR ACCOUNT
You may play as a guest or sign in with Google, Apple (on iOS) or email. Guest play also creates an anonymous account identifier and assigns you an auto-generated, device-bound player name (e.g. GUEST_XXXXXX); that name cannot be changed until you link an account. When linking an account you may choose to transfer your guest progress or start fresh; if you transfer, your scores and matches carry over with the account. You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in details secure.
MULTIPLAYER CONDUCT
Be respectful in turn-based matches. Your player name and chosen avatar are visible to your opponents and to other players on the leaderboard; do not use offensive, misleading, or inappropriate names.
CHAT AND USER CONTENT
Messages you write in match chat are visible to your opponent and stored with the match record; once sent they cannot be edited or deleted. The following are prohibited: harassment, hate speech, spam, sexual content, impersonation, and unlawful content. You can report players and messages in-app; reports are reviewed and acted on. We may restrict, suspend, or remove accounts that break these rules. You can also block a player: their messages are hidden from you and random matchmaking will not route you into matches they opened.
MATCH RULES
Turn-based matches allow 72 hours per move. If your time runs out, your opponent may claim the win. Leaving an active match (resigning or deleting your account) counts as a win for your opponent. You may have at most 5 open/active matches at a time.
SCORES AND DATA
In solo play, your best score per language is submitted, together with your chosen player name, to the online leaderboard and is visible to other players. Turn-based match results are also stored online. Leaderboards and match results are provided as-is and may be reset.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The game, its name, artwork and word lists are the property of MC Stud.io or its licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
DISCLAIMER
WordThis is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the game, to the extent permitted by law.
CHANGES
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued play after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
